if you’re an asexual i hope you’re having a great day! you’re 100% apart of the LGBT+ community!!
Hey guys I made a thing the anti ace pride flag for ace exclusionist to use I'll be making a lot of things with it I hope you guys like it and use it
If you use it please credit me and link back to my blog thanks
this month is pride month, and today is asexual pride day, according to the calendars.
I just want to say that you are valid, valuable and loveable no matter what part of the ace spectrum you’re on. you can and will have a fulfilling and wonderful life out there, and there will be a day when you think to yourself that “this has been a good life”.
things get better. I know it looks dark right now, but you also have to remember: so much of this will change, and so much of it is different from area to area, online to real life. there are people out there who are going to accept you for you, and they will love you for you.
you are not broken for fitting under the ace label. you are just one of a thousand stars, each unique in their composition. there is no “level of queerness/LBGT+/gayness” you have to have to fit in. you are not a monster, unloveable, worthless, invalid, or anything else along those lines because you are ace.
celebrate yourself. if you can’t, celebrate others. if you can’t do that, celebrate quietly, in the small ways we all seem to find.
your experiences are valid, they are not worthless. what you have to say, and what you bring to the table in the community is valuable. you are not alone in these things.
there are people out there who will defend you and help you. things get better, and I know because I’ve watched it get better. people can change. I’ve watched people defend my sexuailty before, and I’ve done it myself.
I hope that there will be a day where that will no longer be needed. I hope there will be a day where I will not need to give a ten minute lecture on my sexuality, why it doesn’t need to be a secret, why it’s valid and as real as any other, why it’s not just “being straight/gay/bi”, why it’s not just “for attention”, and all the other quirks that come with being ace.
we are not broken for being who we are. we are welcomed, and although we may to explain ourselves, our experiences are valid.
you are loveable 💜 🏳️🌈 we are asexual, loveable and proud.
(obviously this was written as someone who’s ace, but this post applies to anyone under the umbrellas of ace OR aro OR both. I jsut used “asexual” for simplicity’s sake)
Could you do icons for the a-spectrum?
@lucifer-is-a-bag-of-dicks also requested it
