OH THAT’S ONE I’VE THOUGHT ABOUT BEFORE TOO!

Luna Eclipsed is one of my favorite episodes in the entire series because I relate SO HARD to her in that episode! Not knowing how to talk to people/using outdated, overly-formal language, struggling to control the volume of her voice, scaring ponies away with her “odd” mannerisms, having lash-outs/meltdowns in frustration at a social event - it really hits all the marks!

And then in later episodes they elaborated on her struggling with being out of her element (like the episode where she switches roles with Celestia for a day), how she prefers to be alone or to interact with ponies in their dreams only, where she can control pretty much every variable, and how excited she gets to go to the post office and watch the process of mail being prepared and delivered...

Princess Luna can DEFINITELY be read as autistic, with a ton of canon support!
