I don't post about Love Mechanics not because I don't like it. No I love it, I love YinWar together. Their chemistry feels natural and jumps off the screen.
The pacing is great. The actors have come very far with their skills since En of Love.
I adore Mark, he's is a wonderful petty, fragile , sassy character that when pushed will push back.
I adore Vee too. No I'm not mad at Vee. So sue me I'm a sucker for a confused disaster bi with communication issues .
No I don't talk about it because both of these little shits put me through so much emotionl turmoil that I can't articulate a post about them. I love them and want to scream at them to JUST TALK. This show is like the Olympics of emotional ups and downs. I have whiplash already and there's still 3ep to go. 😓
Hey, so I haven't been watching Thai bl for long and I don't follow the actors or see interviews for any of them much (Kinnporsche is an exception), but I have seen a ton of posts about fan service in other bls and how weird/cringy it is. I was curious to know what exactly it is. is it forced? is it a prevalent part of the bl industry? what exactly do they do? I haven't seen any fan service for anything, so I was wondering what it looked like and what the fandom/cast have had to deal with
Fan service is essentially during the series promotion and afterwards at fan events and stuff the leads are encouraged (sometimes forced by their agencies) to act like a real couple for fans (like being coached on how to answer leading questions and being physically intimate with each other in front of literally hundreds of people) to keep the series going in the real world. Now obviously this can cause issues between not only co-stars but also in their personal lives because they aren't allowed to say whether or not they have a significant other. If they do, fans can be rather toxic sometimes dangerous and go rabid and start attacking that partner or the actors. Especially if that partner is female.
Often times you can see where one actor is more into the fan service than the other the other one feels more uncomfortable looks more uncomfortable but they still go along with it because it's all promotion. It's becoming less prevalent but it is still the norm in the BL industry. It's driven by fans that's ship them in real life and ask super personal questions like if they are gay or not.
There are some BL couples out there that if they aren't dating you can tell that they are genuinely close and feel comfortable with each other so their interactions feel natural and not forced (KP , OhmNanon , MaxTul to name a couple) or the couples that are close and don't mind doing a teeny bit of fan service (MewGulf and OffGun comes to mind). I just think FS and the way agencies go about it is extremely toxic and damaging.
Lovely Writer is a BL that looks into the BL industry and FS and calls it out shedding light on how it can effect actors personally.
I'm still stuck here. Sorry not sorry.
I would like to petition the court for these two to get an entire series to themselves with a new side couple.
Please! Pretty please, I loved them! 🥺

Sun is a sassy cinnamon roll and I love him 🥺❤️
I can tell this series is going to make me so happy and also break my heart.
It's a look.
We're finally at the end. Even Sun EP 6 thoughts and review.
*Spoilers Ahead If You Haven't Seen It.
Yay we finally have the shortened version of the intro. Only took them 6 Ep to do it.
So now at the last EP (which may I mention isn't any longer than the others, which for this show is a detriment). We find out that Sun and Arthid knew each other as kids. Which didn't come up in any of the many flashbacks before now. Maybe we could have had of less gambling addict Daddyo and a little bit more back story for our mains.
Pretty Boun just for the hell of it.
Being that the subtitles are still trash I am still pausing and trying to figure out the translation.
I did gets some laughs though. Sun fighting with the monkey was one.
He finally had the Revelation that maybe being a debt collector is not for him. Because he is a cinnamon roll. Thank you for using your brain you sweet boy.
The BounPrem chemistry is kicking in full force and I'm loving to see it. I'm sad though it took this long, however I still say the lack thereof before was down to bad writing and cramming so much into such short EPs.
I'm also sad that because of the short EPs and season , that I didn't get to know these two better , their chemistry wasn't allowed to grow . I still don't care about them like I feel I should 🥺. Everything in this show felt rushed and like I'd missed episodes so I wasn't fully aware of what was going on.
Honestly the best part of this show besides BounPrem. Is the scenery and cinematography. Even Sun has some beautiful shots and that can't be taken away.
I still feel that even though we get the happy end for our boys. We're still left wondering exactly how we got here . Why?
Because this is what happens when you take a 10 episode show and shove it into six 40 minute EPs . You get a convoluted confusing mess that nobody knows entirely what is going on or how we got to the end.
Well that's it for Even Sun thoughts and being 100% honest. I'm glad it's over.
I give it ⭐⭐⭐. Hate me if you want but that's how it falls for me.
BounPrem and the other actors obviously aren't the cause of this . WRITING is .
Thanks for reading! ❤️❤️ .
Until next time.
