1- From talk sweet to my cat (if not to me) (Fenris/Anders) - Modern AU, my first ever fic for this pairing âĽ
Part of him ached to try and stay, to just be asleep in Fenrisâ bed when he finished with his shower. But he was sure that it would shatter his heart if Fenris came out and asked what Anders was still doing there, as he had the first time they had met at Fenrisâ and he had done something similar. He had foolishly assumed that he was welcome to stay at least until morning, and had been swiftly corrected in that assumption. So instead of lingering, he returned to his small chilly apartment and Pounce. He tried not to be upset that he didnât get to hear Fenris saying sweet things even if they werenât to him.
2- From Iâll Be Gone In The Dark (Fenris/Anders) - true crime inspired murder mystery, I love this fic so much still. I worked so hard on it
But the elf had already strode away from him, shoulders tense with rage. Anders stared in shock at his back, one hand still raised, reaching for him. The late afternoon sun turned his pale hair into a halo and shone off the pommel of his greatsword. Anders abruptly felt like he was twelve again, clawing desperately after his fatherâs retreating back as he left his son with templars without a backward glance. Only this time there are no templars holding him back, he was alone in the baking heat with only the gulls and the buzz of the insects around him as yet another person saw that Anders was more trouble than he was worth.
3- From I Could Walk Forever In My Garden (Fenris/Anders) - Hanahaki fic
The healer barely managed to stumble away from the doorstep and around the corner before blooms and thorny stems came pouring from him like all the things he wished he had said to Fenris. Even speckled with his blood, Anders could distinguish the new white, red and purple buds and petals mixed with his normal bouquet of misguided feelings.
4- From A Divine Appointment (x7) (Fenris/Anders) - kid fic!
âThe sailor stared at him in shock. Fenris stood and forced the man back, away from Raelnor and towards the other end of the ring. He regarded Fenris with a bloodless, frightened face- like he had seen a ghost.Â
Good, Fenris thought vindictively.
âThe boy said he was done. However, I also fight to the death if you would prefer to continue,â Fenris said.
5- From heat waves (sometimes, all i think about is you) (Fenris/Anders) - A/B/O
It was⌠nice. It was more than Anders ever expected to have; an alpha who doted on him, even if that alpha wasnât his. He knew he should be happy with what he had been given but some primal part of him still wanted more. Fenris was kinder to him since they started spending his heats together, going out of his way to protect him in battle and bringing him food and treats while he was working in the clinic. Anders suspected Fenris did it out of long buried instincts and was unwilling to point it out to the elf. He didnât want the treatment to stop, didnât want to give up the fantasy where an alpha like Fenris was willing to be bonded to an omega like Anders.
6- From In The Bleak Midwinter (Fenris/Anders) - mine and Sav's Wintersend collab, modern AU
He tried not to fall in the pond as he was pulled - gently; Maker he would never get over that - back towards the farmhouse, but all Anders could feel was a fizzing kind of excitement that filled his chest, bubbled up his throat and manifested itself as a giddy grin that he was helpless to suppress. Heâd just made out with Fenris! The most gorgeous, dangerous, prickly elf in the whole of Kirkwall! And he, Anders, had just kissed that mouth! Heâd had Fenrisâ actual tongue in his actual mouth and the man tasted wonderful. And he hadnât even had to pay in bruises! It was a Wintersend miracle!
If only- he sighed, the fizzing dying down slightly. If only the elf wasnât acting.
7- From Test Of Freedom (Fenris/Anders) - sequel to Divine Appointment (x7), also known as the Home Alone fic
Fenris turned the small ornate vial of what looked like dust in his hands, looking for a label. He didnât see anything marking what it was and while he was almost scared to know, he asked anyway.
âTanner, whatâs this?â
âOh, those are some of Andrasteâs ashes.â
8- From The Light Of All Lights (Fenris/Anders) - established relationship reveal, cave-in fic
There had been a ramshackle door, deeper into the cave system that was now partially blocked by fallen rocks. Where Andersâ voice came from had been a small alcove with no outlet, and it didnât even have the luminescent rocks as they had found in similar places to illuminate the space. In addition to that, Anders was being much too quiet. The healer was always making noise of some sort, humming and singing under his breath to himself as he worked in the clinic, cracking jokes and telling stories when they were out, always filling the silence anyway he could. The man even talked in his sleep most nights, as Fenris had discovered and eventually grown accustomed to.
9- From animal (take a bite of my heart tonight) (Fenris/Anders) - sequel to heat waves, A/B/O
Anders turned away from the door after waiting for any kind of acknowledgement. The romantic side of him still dreamed for a moment of Fenris bursting through the door and begging Anders to stay. At worst he expected Fenris to be mad, to call him an abomination or a blight on mankind. Instead, he received nothing.
10- From Maybe I Dreamt You (Fenris/Anders) - kinda soulmate AU?? "A Fade spirit told me you are the love of my life" AU??
And then Fenris saw him; a man, tall and leanly built, gleamed like a beacon amongst the sea of slavers and demons. Blue oozed from cracks in his skin and a single spell launched in the direction of Fenrisâ doppelgänger dissipated the shades sent by Hadriana into ash and dust.
