#artwork summary

never thought my art skills would improve so much, im really proud 🌟

In retrospective making my own template was a terrible idea, it looks so poor, but my creativity might as well be a blank white void when it comes to backgrounds

So I don't feel like yapping tomorrow (especially bc its new years so posting when im spending time with family is tragic). So I will do it today when ppl are still online.

I think it's kinda obvious seeing my art evolution compared to 2024, since most of it was drawn on my phone till September. There is a clear difference in style (heck I didn't even knew about multiply tool or other features till like May or august or so of that year...). I was dummy back then and didnt knew what i was doing-

While just looking 2025, at first glance it barely shows my art progression this year? January doesn't count bc I only had 3 shitty doodles (it was exams period). And bc I'm just choosing the "best one" all the ugly shit with weird proportions, poses, lighting, lack of shading or other defects aren't present. When they are a majority of the art I made during the first months of 2025, they exist, I'm aware of them and saw them, but cherry picking the best ones does this 💀

Personally, while it doesn't show it that well, the tip point where my art started getting better this year was around art fight (july). Ever since then I have been basically drawing almost every single week or daily. I think my improvements were mostly anatomy wise, poses and the other small things like the way I draw Bonbon. (her hair and bunny ears evolved a lot). Coloring, I experimented with water color for few times but that didn't stick with that style since it feels limited on how I want things to look. In other words my shading style has been kinda stuck ever since I improved a little when I experimented with krita, but I think it looks good, so its alright I just wanted it to be faster lmao.

What I might look forward next year is maybe improving my lighting color choices? That december art with my sona and lighting I have a big spot for it in my heart, to the point im using it as pfp and I want to repeat it again in the future. I got an idea for a next artwork for something sad, but it will be for next year.
