ARTWORK CHALLENGE

Hi everyone! I think it would be really fun to organize a little week-long content challenge. I’ll be creating mainly for LOTR/The Hobbit, but feel free to participate with whatever fandom(s) and ship(s) you want, and as little or as much as you would like.

Day 1: someone’s jealous

Day 2: domestic bliss/a day in the life

Day 3: Injury + angst

Day 5: Unrequited love (or -- the love is requited, they’re just oblivious)

Day 6: There’s only one bed (I’m so sorry, it’s my favorite, I had to do it)

THE ARTWORK CHALLENGE!

🏺 The Rules 🏺

Pick a piece of visual artwork (sculpture, painting, illustration) and re-create it in one of the sims games! It doesn’t have to be spot on, so no need to agonize over accuracy (unless you want to). Tag a bunch of simmers afterwards so everyone can have fun.

Okay, I must admit I initially had no idea on how to approach this challenge. Frankly I had no idea on what painting to use and my inexperience with posing didn’t help too. When I thought about artwork and activities ingame, The idea of using a statue of a soccer player and using the soccer ball ingame. To bad the animations regarding the soccer are only about jggling the ball alone or with another sims. That kept my options sparse. In the end I settled for this statue of Johan Cruijff in action on the pitich (he could either be about to pass the ball to another player or he could dribbling) and a screen of one of my playtest Sims juggling with the ball (doing ‘keepie uppies’). They’re totally spot on, right? 😁
