Art Parade part 3/3 - Mors
We finally had to go to Mors, and everybody got everything packed for the parade, and themselves for the trip.
Sadly we got bads news when we were about to take the bus, the costumes that we had to paint hadn’t arrived in time, and we drove to Mors without them.
So here we had to get a little creative - and fast! but we made it! everybody now had to make there own costume out of a big roll of paper and decorate it with the ink we brought with us to paint the original costumes with.
This plan worked perfectly, my own costume however was close to falling apart the whole time I had it on at the parade, and just when we got inside the sleeping halls - it all fell apart, luckily it didn’t do that AT the parade.
The parade went well, everything worked and the formation was beautiful! people really loved it, and it was very fun - even though I was holding one of the middle pillars when we were walking, and let's just say it wasn’t very light.
I had a ton of fun at Mors, the people and music was great, and I really want to go there again, hopefully with TAW!
I learned a lot of things on this course, I learned to make fast but creative plans when things doesn’t go as planned, and that you shouldn’t sit out in the sun wearing a sports bra for several hours - that will give you nasty sunburns (which I still can see the markings of to this day)
