I feel classifying ART and Murderbot relationship as platonic or romantic is a doomed endeavor. They are so important to each other that that importance goes beyond labels. They have built a beautiful house on top of the blurry line between friendship and romance. Maybe I'm just projecting my difficulties in defining these terms in any absolutes. But I think it's beautiful that to them the difference doesn't matter. Love is there, and it doesn't care how it is named.

How do you expect me to explain to my friends that my favorite interpersonal relationship ever portrayed in media is between a cyborg and a spaceship.
