Hey, to the ones that post art and art tutorials online, YOUR ART MATTERS.

I didn't grow up with very much money, and the school I went to didn't have much funding for art. My library was great, but there weren't many books about teaching art (though there were a lot of comics)(god bless that library)

No, the one who taught me art was YOU. You, the artists online that posted their art out of love. The ones that uploaded lengthy tutorials without expectation of payment. You were my teachers. Not fancy college professors or paintings by old masters. Just people who loved art and wanted to share it with others.

So whenever you feel down about Ai or NFTs or artists being mistreated, and you wonder if your art even MATTERS, let me tell you first that it does. It mattered to me, and it always will.

You loved art. And you taught me to love art in return. And now I want to teach others to love art too. And that is why your art matters.

Let your creativity soar, colors dance, and imagination inspire. Art has the power to change the world!" . . .
