I purchased this remarkable Expressionist woodcut on Friday. The image is 30" T x 19" W and it's on mulberry paper. Some condition issues. The title is "Mary Washes His Feet", the signature is, there as seen. I assume that this is American, but it looks a great deal like German work. Perhaps someone studied in Germany or at the Art Institute of Chicago?
