(He is still saying things like "I.... I am fine, how about you?" He is seriously injured and his voice is dropped dead to whisper as if he has no energy to speak more but that's his response when she asks how he is and where he is injured, such a maddening man.)

Also, from the card vidcall it's implied that he eventually passed out in her arms and when durant (npc in the card) found them, she said rosa refused to let go of him despite being frozen.
