Some people on Tumblr may call me “AI slop” for wanting to experiment for fun when it comes to my own designs and concepts I showcase, as well as putting music together from my hand written lyrics. But they don’t realize what saying that suddenly can do to certain people when it comes to bullying. They think they’re justifying it, but it’s really harassment. You should never judge people immediately without knowing their full intentions when using AI. Most say AI is bad for the environment which I also believe is true, but bullying is even worse for the environment as it gives a so much more bad example and immature behavior how to handle situations that leads to hurting people.
I will never understand why most people think acting so cruel is the only way to stop others from using a flawed system or think it’s okay to do it. I mean, I can at least understand why most feel they have to be strict to those who use AI for bad purposes which is necessary but we’re living in a much darker era because this kind of behavior is being encouraged when harming those who also use AI for different reasons or anything else for that matter that’s similar.
I don’t like people relying on the system to do everything either, but this attitude makes us forget the importance of compassion and setting a better, more positive example for others. Instead of simply condemning people for using AI, we should be encouraging them to unlock their own artistic potential and creativity from within. If you continue to react harshly toward people who use AI without knowing their reasons first, it could lead to serious consequences. Bullying like this can cause real harm and may even push someone to hurt themselves or worse. You wouldn’t want that on your conscience if something like that were to happen as not everyone can handle the pressure of harsh criticism.
While using AI to create art can be wrong if someone claims it as their own work and people shouldn’t lie and say it was done entirely by their own hand or rely on it for everything to create, especially if they get snarky about it. There are better ways to give motivating messages that encourage real creativity from the mind and hand to those who are willing to listen, nothing should be solved with cyber abuse.
Being honest about what you’re doing when using AI should at least be respected, not met with harsh treatment just for admitting the truth. I personally use AI to practice editing and to experiment visually with my own designs for my real art. I also use it to share and explain story concepts I want to develop for future projects, as well as to turn my handwritten lyrics and poems into music so I can present them for people to hear than just read to give a better idea how they sound. I never claim that the AI art or vocals I showcase are made by my own hand or sung by my own voice or anyone else’s. I’m not trying to justify it, I’m just explaining my reasons why I use it that it helps me personally a bit to explain my visions easier and improve my editing when fixing the images mistakes so I can do that for my real art.
If you believe that using AI systems to create images or music isn’t the right path, encourage and inspire people to avoid it in a kinder way. When some people lie about their work, it might sometimes be because they’ve been treated harshly and are trying to avoid harassment as they just want to express their artistic vision someway, or because they feel insecure about their own potential. And even if they don’t listen, you can still get your message across in a kind, motivating way. One that people are more likely to respect and look up to. Some people are afraid to admit the truth when it might lead to them being trolled or hurt by others’ words. That’s why we should try to understand their reasons as a person rather than automatically assume they are bad people just for using the system to create art.
So please take more care with your words, you don’t know the people behind these choices as not everyone’s intentions are to use it for bad purposes or insult real artists those who use it. I won’t let harassment change the direction I’m trying to go when it comes to my own way of self-improvement, showcasing my editing abilities, sharing concept of my future story projects and finding a way to share my handwritten lyric work. I don’t support AI generation in a dishonest way; I want to use it responsibly and honestly, without lying about what it is. I don’t intend to promote or support it, but rather to turn it around in my own way when it comes to creating. AI is not something I would ever encourage people to use. Even though I use it for certain things for my own personal purposes, I would never prefer it over creating real art nor supporting real musicians.
I am autistic, and I only seek to experiment, learn, and encourage true creativity from the heart. I want to be respected for my visions, not defined by AI. If just you take the chance to observe my blog and posts more closely, you can see I only have honest intentions when it comes to real artistic encouragement and motivations that’s not all directed towards AI.
(Note) If you see any posts of people that’s addressing my AI designs and I in a bad way, please don’t take the posts people are making about me too seriously. I don’t want to fool anyone, and many of them jumped to harsh conclusions, calling me a slop without ever asking me about the artwork I post or bother to try and understand my intentions as they are quickly assuming I’m a bad person whose trying to give artists a bad name and lying about my work. They don’t know me or who I really am, please discover the truth within your own hearts and not by anyone else’s perspective. If you don’t take my word for it, still find out for yourselves.
