character in general: FARLAN CHURCH IS MY TRUE SON. NO OTHER CAN COMPARE i can’t even explain how much i love him without it deteriorating into sobbing. Someone give him a job and an official hair color ok he deserves so much better.how they play them: PROXY LET ME TELL YOU HOW WONDERFUL OF A FARLAN YOU HAVE like. Even from the beginning when we were both running off like a chapter and a prologue for characterization, you were pretty damn spot on with how he ended up being. You’ve put so much thought into his backstory, into every fiber of his being, and it’s so obvious in how you write. He’s actually canon Farlan Church and I can’t put into words how well you write for him without haphazadly gesturing to your entire blog with a lot of unintelligble sobbing noises. You’re such a wonderful writer and I hope you know that the mun: proxy is my wife what else is there to say. BUT REALLY ily so much i can’t even explain it you’ve been a huge positive influence in my life, and you’re someone i enjoy talking to whenever i drag my ass to skype and you’re not drowning in school. YOU’RE J U ST family. and ily. Even if all of our AUs turn to pain and one of them dying because that always seems to be a trend 8|

                 NOW is vital — -  it is a ladder, a staircase that he need climb                     to assert himself where he need be to accomplish something, to                     bring change. it is a slow process, oft obstructed by skeptical,                     conspiratorial minds that offer the demand to H A L T  with                     voices dripping in false diplomacy. ( they were a threat, but                     they could be managed ).                      to stand at the height of that ladder could be precarious — &                     he is not yet there. Dear Farlan,

It might seem strange writing to you after this, and if it is I truly apologize! 

I've thought very hard about how to go about letters like these, but no matter how I try, the beginning parts always seem awkward and clipped. There's no use emphasizing the point I presume, only that the circumstances surrounding this letter are likely...dark. 

I've always resigned myself to this kind of fate eventually. It happens to most after all, and my own combat capabilities aren't much to rave about. It isn't a surprise. 

I'm sorry to have left you both behind. I'd never really been a very popular person, and didn't have many to call a friend. But I can safely say you were one of them. You talked to me about things and helped me with them, which is more than I can say for a good majority of people. Thank you so much for that. I hope that you and Isabel are safe and happy. 

I'm sorry I was weak. And I'm sorry that I'm still scared to die, I wish I could assure otherwise. 

Thank you so much for your kindness. It means more than I think I can express. I wasn't alone all my life, and that leaves me with far fewer regrets in the end.
