#aro rambles

Happy Munday! I will give an update regarding the blogs for June-July

I'll likely put them on hiatus until August because got burnt out quite early (it's half of June tho...). It sucks, but was really out of ideas. (but if I somehow feel inspired, I will indeed post something, but no promises)

I will still doing replies, art of characters (along with ref updates in a meantime) before Art Fight season strikes

For those wondering where some of my posts are gone (e.g. art, fanart, etc.), they are slowly getting archived to @aroverse-archive. So, not to worry (I also see some blogs do that too) (refer to this post)

Once August strikes, I will probably work on this blog (@ask-the-shiny-pokemons) before the wedding event (either September or October)

Allopls try not to assume every single aro is friendship obsessed maniac. Or that everyone has a best friend. No,no we fucking don't. Not everyone has someone that's willing to stay or just put them as a 1st choice.

Or any type of love. It doesn't matter. Some of us are aplatonic/afamiliar/loveless/etc.

Not everyone wants to/has spend their life with someone. No matter if they have the chance or not (some of us are unlikeable & don't have the nerves to bother w ppl when we know they're not gonna like us anyways no matter how we'll try or we just had enough of the treatment we received).

I said this like 400 times already but not everyone feels love & has the ppl 4 it.

This is like every post in the aro hashtag whenever I open the feed,it makes me mad. If I could block this shit,I would,but considering ppl don't tag their posts smth like alloplatonic or platonic favorable, I'd have to block the entire hashtag,which is no.

It pisses me off. & its not just these sentences,it can be anything w love or partnerships.

Which is one of the reasons I was extremely disappointed when they made Usopp in love with Kaya in the live action series. I was extremely disappointed with the live action of OP in general, but that's a story for another day... But just, it went from a story about friendship and deep (platonic) connections, to something cliché and, in my view, boring and reductive.

Not to mention the fact that Luffy, Nami and Zoro are probably all very much aroace (Luffy almost certainly) but these 3 are usually the most shipped and sexualized characters in the fandom.

How is a fictional character more good-looking than most of y’all?! Do y’all really be bested by Vegeta DBZ?!

I realized I was Ace when I thought that “smash” in smash or pass meant you want that character in Super Smash Bros. Like, hell yeah I want Shadow the Hedgehog in Smash, that would be so cool!

I realized I was Aro when I would rather have chocolate than romance on Valentine’s Day. And also cuz no one looked “datable” in my class.

How is a butt pleasing to allos?

Everyone’s saying on here that they wanna have sex with [insert favorite character that gets massively simped on]. I just wanna be that guys friend.

Once I figure out the differences between romantic, sexual, sensual, and aesthetic attraction it’s so over for y’all.

I've decided to hard reboot this blog because I really don't like that I have started it almost just after Legends Z-A reveal in 2024 and one year later...we now have a new version of Lumiose.

All posts, including fanart, interactions with other blogs have been moved to @crossingshinies. I only left references (including the AU, ask hints, and pinned.
