Late Roman "Burgh Castle" helmet

Late 3rd - 4th Century ridge helm based on the find from Burgh Castle, Norfolk. Cheek plates are based on the Berkasovo type II find. Fully leather lined with adjustable leather webbing.

Koblenz Ridge Helm

Reconstruction of a helmet from the findings at the late Roman Koblenz depot. (Christian Miks "Vom Prunkstück zum Altmetall - Ein depot Spätrömischer helmteile aus Koblenz" RGZM Nov 2008)

Full iron core with applied decorated brass outer skin. Leather trim and buckle fastenings on the cheek and neck guards as per the Koblenz finds. Ear guard plates are solid brass.

Intercisa IV

Intercisa type IV Helmet based on the iron core from Intercisa with  a crest vane shape based on the Via Maria frescoes, combined with Chi/Rho fronticepiece and crest edging reconstructed from archaeological finds from Richborough and a 1997 find made at Limburg. The iron helmet is then sheathed in punch-work decorated thin brass sheet. A real beauty!

Deir el Medineh Spangenhelm

The original helmet dated to the early fourth Century was found in Egypt at Deir el Medineh, and is now on display at the Coptic Museum, Cairo. This reproduction follows the dimensions of the original to the mm! (Also available slightly larger to fit 61-62cm head circumference) Fitted with a vegetable-tanned leather liner.
