Yes, 20 minutes of exercise is better than nothing.
The American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) recommends that adults should accumulate at least 30 minutes of moderate-intensity aerobic activity 5 days per week OR engage in 20-minutes of vigorous activity 3 days per week. Workout Feedback please...
So all I ever do at the gym is the elliptical, maybe the treadmil, the bike, or something basically involving my legs.
I really want to start incorporating my arms, but I always suck with coming up with a plan.
I have questions!!!
How do you decide how long to workout with your arms? I see some people do 15 minutes (which for me doesn’t seem long for me, but I guess they mix in leg work too) and then others do 30-45 minutes.
How do you decide which machines to do, is there a proper order?
How do you decide how many reps to do?
And speaking of reps...I am always confused. Like let’s say you are going to do 5 machines. Do you stop at all 5 and then start over again at the first one for the second set? Or do you do all them at one machine and go to the next machine?
And then okay on that topic...how long do you pause between doing reps/sets (I know there are a different term but honestly not a clue). Cause I don’t want to feel like I am doing 30 in a row, but I imagine more than a minute break ruins the process?
Okay so those are my questions, and I would really appreciate some feedback so I can get myself into this. Also would appreciate some apps that maybe can build me a routine? But if you just give me an app without help to my questions I ma going to be honest I won’t check it out because I will still be confused as fuck. LoL
PLEASE HELP!!
Thank you!! :)
