Arlon was an interesting first pick. I thought he was going to be super easy but I didn't account for the markings in his hair, or his weird shoulders, those gave me a bit of trouble. (Granted I figured out a much better way to sketch out markings later)

Looking back at him, I took away some of the angularity on his coat, but to be fair, his art isn't 100% consistent haha.

I really haven't done much realistic looking shading before working on him, so I'm still really happy with how he turned out.

Shading his hands was a challenge too, but I think they turned out pretty good regardless!

My HD model is 9,346 tris, while the original is 1,299. Yeah it's a big jump but still optimized enough to hypothetically be used in a game.

Which, he IS in a game, because I'm porting all my HD models into VRchat. Kid Icarus is barely represented, so if no one else is going to make avatars for anyone other than Pit or Palutena, guess I gotta do it!

Also, his smoke effect is done with particles in VRc, hence why I don't have them on the Blender screenshots.
