A 57-year-old woman fell while walking her dog. Her MRI scan showed a bruise in the spinal cord which is the bright spot seen on the left image in the center of the gray spinal cord. She had transient paralysis and underwent emergency surgery to relieve the pressure, shown on the right image. She has experienced an amazing recovery!
