Longbox-style cardboard sleeve for the 3âł CD single (âCDÂłâł) version of âDestinationâ by The Church issued by American record label Arista Records in 1988.
This is yet another CD single I had to get for the non-album b-sides. Although in this case, that was true for only one of the two: an acoustic version of their modern rock radio hit âUnder the Milky Way.â
While lead track âDestinationâ was the third single from the bandâs Starfish album, the other âb-sideâ here was âTantalized,â taken from the bandâs previous album, Heyday. It was all part of a reissue promotional push by Arista, as advertised on the back of the sleeve: âHeyday and the entire Church catalog are now available on chrome cassettes, records and compact discs.â As I was a huge fan of Starfish, I naturally scooped up all of those reissues. Though I was still in my tape-buying phase, so unfortunately I had re-buy all of those on vinyl later when my musical format preferences evolved.
