#areyouinterested

Unfortunately, I'm not the type of person that will go out to meet people.  I think I know why but am not really sure.  When I do meet new people, it takes me a little while to open up.  There are some, for what ever the reason, I seem to attract and the ones that I would really like to get to know, just are not around or already in a relationship.

When I was younger, I didn't know what I wanted myself.  I don't know if I still am or just...  What I have noticed, especially with these dating web sites, is that they have a script built in to make it appear a member from the site is interested in you, but, the catch... you have to be a paying member yourself in order to respond.

The thing is, once you do become a paying member, all the interested people stop contracting you and those you contacted, never, ever reply...  What a scam!

Yeah, you say... "Well, you need to get out more often".  Easier said than done, been burned several times now and what I used to do, really made it worse.  I've seen the worse of the worse and been burned by the same.

All I can say, like that old adage "walk a mile in that persons shoes", give it a try, believe me, if you did walk in my shoes, you'd be so jaded and disgusted, you just might want to find a cave in the most remote location and never return.

There were several people in my early years that I wished I had knew then what I now know, I would've never been as stupid.  I think, no, I know, I'd be still with them, married with children, living in a nice house with a good job and still employed in a nice neighborhood...
