Scott Dinsmore’s mission is to adjust the environment by helping men and women find what excites them and make a occupation all-around the perform only they are able of doing.
The Posaune is the central meeting point at the campus roundabout between the Karl-Franzens-University and the famous Zinzendorfgasse, the main street for the student’s life in Graz. The Bausatz-System is also omnipresent here, since the Posaune is part of the chain of the Grazer student restaurant, where you choose all your toppings on a basis of toast, pizza, spaetzle pan, or salad. So you are in full control over your ingredients as it is super transparent here, what you getting in the end. And the prices are very reasonable, since the target group are the students of Graz.
The seating is nice as long you are in the patio in the Zinzendorfgasse and sunny in the afternoon. Inside the Posaune it is a pub atmosphere and allowed to smoke. So if you are sensitive to smoke it’s better to stay in the patio and enjoy your meal in the sunshine.
We had a spaetzle pan with pineapple and blue cheese, another spaetzle pan with feta, corn, beans, and salami, as well as a pizza with feta, olives, corn, and salami and another pizza with prosciutto, corn, mushrooms, and chilli pepper. All these dishes are very delicious and interesting combinations.

The Bottom Line: The Posaune, located in the Zinzendorfgasse 34, 8010 Graz, is a students meeting point with a nice patio in the Zinzendorfgasse to sit in. The prices are reasonable, the food is delicious, and the location in the center of the Grazer students life, a place where you can choose all your toppings and assemble your whole meal with a great sunny patio.

The Area 5 is a great place to be, if you want to get on top of Graz, on the rooftop to be specific. It’s an ideal refuge, if your feel the itch to get out of the city and staying in the city center at the same time.
