I'm trying something new for how I shade- I wanted something more messy or painterly, but it's hard to get it to balance alright with my usual line art? Anyways I spent more time on little details than I should have so here's some close-ups:

I really wanted to take a stab at making some gen admission students to be in a tabletop club at Darkwick and these three crawled out of my brain. I have a hc that Kaito is also in the club (he's super into it but also way ashamed of it) but I didn't include him because I was lazy TT-TT I do want to draw all of them playing a game together someday though!

Anyways here's way more information on them than I need to share:

All three of them are super into ttrpgs, but also dabble in LARP. Hana is usually the one who likes running games, but they do swap turns with Nakamura being a close second frequent DM.

Very unlikely friends given house rivalries and their own personalities, but somehow it works well?

Actually the house choices are funny because originally I was going to make Hana a Mortkranken student because she's studious. But then I was like "haha wouldn't it be funny if she was actually a mechanical engineer in Vagastrom" so I moved her. Also I don't think there are any women shown in Vagastrom in game??? Which sucks because I would love to see some. Also, the little writing and designs on her skirt are inspired by sukeban skirts!

Punzie is in Hotarubi because she's an aspiring tattoo artist. She's super dedicated to it actually, and she has a particular interest in pulling influence from traditional works for tattoos. The tattoos on her thighs were supposed to reference a specific kabuki play but they sort of devolved into doodles. She looks way more intimidating than she actually is. Her favorite class to play is Cleric.
