Caitlyn put a bullet into the chamber of her rifle, the hextech glowing on the side of her rifle. Her aim was impeccable, despite what many might call a disadvantage with her blind eye, she had been strategic to take out her non-dominant eye so she was still one of the best snipers in all of Piltover and Zaun combined. Her outfit colors looked quite Noxian at first glance, her black top and pants, with the kiramman sigil lined in gold and red. However, the Prince of Piltover had purposely taken the Noxian colors and subverted it to her own design.
A basic fuck you to Ambessa for trying to assimilate her. "I do not care for Noxians in my city," Caitlyn threatened as she held her rifle up in the ready. "Ambessa and her clan may have been the first to fall and spill blood on my streets, but I have no problem spilling more blood if you think you can try and do the same. So state your purpose, now," She demanded, standing there, her hextech eye focused with her good eye on the man without faltering.
đź”´ - The truth beneath the gilding. Only war can bring profit.
Swain expected this reaction, but there's still a slight flinch by the haste of the threat of the gun barrel looming at his face, the whirring mechanics of the bullet being loaded within is a noise he's not accustomed to. Still, as a symbol of Noxian strength he can give no visible reaction, stiff lip and eyes darting to her remaining eye, appraising her carefully. The warble of ravens echoes behind him, watching with rapt interest as the Piltover Commander threatened their liege.
He keeps his infernal arm concealed for now, no need to encourage any impulsive retaliation. Even if the chances of him surviving a bullet or two were quite high, he wanted to keep his cards close to this chest. Commander Kiramman had shown some of hers, one way or the other.
With his remaining hand he gives a peaceful gesture, raised upward. There's no sign of fear, a calm measured response even as he's looking down the barrel.
"I admire the tenacity and conviction, Commander Kiramman. But inviting all out war with Noxus?" He responds calmly, lowering his hand to fold behind his back. Still not chancing a raven getting closer, he's lost enough of the poor things from that blue haired moron down hill.
"Grand General Swain." He introduces, though offers no hand to shake.
"By chance, our concerns may overlap. The Medarda clan in particular.. I'm here to discern why she came here and what for. The issue goes deeper than simply having her daughter sat on the council. Else she wouldn't be wasting Noxian blood on a whim. I would hope." Jericho continues, not the entire truth, and not a disclosure of his feelings concerning the clan itself. Such was politics. He did not actually care for a Warlord even without permission-attempting to expand into a small - prosperous city. It was the Black rose issue that netted his attention.
