There is a bit over a week left to join the Arcane Map. Currently there are not enough participants so if you are at all interested, please check out the map call for more information.

Arcane Map Call Update
A discord server has been organised and an invite is included at the end of the application form.
Here is the schedule plan for the Map as well:
Arcane Map Schedule Plan
October 28th - Map call Opens
November 30th - Second round of claims begins (backup artists contacted to claim parts if they can and artists can claim a second part)
December 15th - Storyboard check-in, can be as simple as stick figures
March 30th - Check-in, should have a sketch of the scene (if not, that is okay. This is just a guide to keep us on schedule)
June 30th - Check-in, should have completed lineart
August 30th - Check-in, should have completed colour
October 20th - Check-in, Backgrounds should be completed/ your part should be completed
October 31st - Send in your parts, I will begin editing them together
November 6th - Completed MAP is released Ā
I will be posting google forms every check-in to keep track of everyoneās progress. If there are any issues, place dm me directly so we can figure out a solution.

It's from Arcane! and hell yeah its sick it's the greatest animated show ever
and yes I mean that. I don't mean in writing or music or characters(although all of those are INCREDIBLE the characters actually are the greatest written blorbos anyway)

Seriously, it took the smallest studio inside the big company a week to make 3.5 seconds. The first episode took 4 years, simply because they had to learn this new style
I mean look at this singular moment. That probably took more than a day. And you can see why
you totally gotta watch it. Arcane on Netflix!
(if the animation doesn't persuade you, I'll have you know Imagine Dragons are literally canon in the show and show up: once in the show, once in a music video)
The amount of work that went into Arcaneās animation is actually insane. The artists produced beautiful and complex and layered expressions for every single character in every single scene, and then they did work like this!! Most TV shows and moviesālive action or animatedājust reuse the same āfootageā for flashbacks, memories, and similar, which makes the way Arcane manipulates memories very notable on a production work level, but itās also more realistic for the way memory operates. Memory is flawed; we donāt remember it all or we remember it differently than others and our brain fills in gaps or shifts things to fit our understanding of reality, and Arcane uses that so beautifully in these moments
