That’s why when Oliwia decided to become a Pokemon trainer for the heck of it, they just annoy her every chance they get with battles because her mom isn’t here.

in the canonverse, ara isn’t at dinner the first night at the motel, so dunia is sent up to check on her.

in her room, ara is having a regressive episode, and dunia is trying to make her at least less upset.

at the end, dunia is just like, “help my chest is being used as a pillow again and it kinda hurts”
