By popular request...I guess, here's part two of listing off the OCs in my and @stormkitty97's TWST rewrite fics.
Some things to keep in mind:
This is only for the major OCs, not any of the minor characters.
I didn't aesthetic posts for some of the other OCs yet, so I'll include those in another part at a later point.
I purposefully left a couple out, because they are massive spoilers.
Since these fics centre Jamil and Malleus, expect a lot of Scarabia and Diasomnia OCs throughout this.
Everyone has been aged up by a couple years, so NRC, RSA along with the other canon schools are all universities.
We created two major all girls fan schools. Both because we wanted to include other women and female leaning non-binary characters outside of the leads (the "Yuus"/main OCs) and to make things more realistic. (Seriously, why haven't those been name dropped by now or made background characters in events? That's an important detail.) The NRC sister school is called Enchanted Rose, which is honoured after Beauty and the Beast. It was also created by Belle and was the first school to admit non-mages, who are considered disabled in this universe. She did this so any woman had the opportunity to receive a higher education.
There is also a RSA female counterpart in our worldbuilding. However, my cowriter and I have a very "only create characters when the story needs a role that cannot be filled by a canon character" stance with our fics. If you are wondering, why there aren't any characters from there, that's why.
Our fics have a minor "Soulmate AU" element the "True Love Marks." Basically, whenever someone kisses their soulmate/"True Love," they would each receive matching tattoos on the same area of the body. These don't do much other than making your emotions heightened around the other and making spicy time more intense, if you know what I mean. There are also platonic versions that activate whenever you go through something harrowing together. Think Anna saving her sister's life. Though, these are uncommon with the latter type being even more rare.
Sirens are considered another type of fae, not merfolk like Rielle, Azul and the Tweels in our writing. Merfolk are considered half human and sea creature, being descendants of sailors who fell overboard and were given that form in order to survive. Sirens are half High Fae and sea creature.
We also altered Azul’s UM a bit, so that it’s more akin to Equivalent Exchange from FMA. While he can trade other items or skills of Equivalent Value, he’ll be more likely to overblot and will severely harm or even kill someone when he does, so he vastly prefers magical abilities. Just to make his powers much clearer and him far less OP than canon. In order to make a contract with a fae, witch or demon in folklore, you MUST either kiss or sleep with them to seal it. With that in mind, here Azul MUST kiss the person in order to activate his Unique Magic.
The worldbuilding around the fae, and just in general has been either altered or tossed out, due to the canon worldbuilding being rather lackluster...to put it politely. If you are confused about things like the courts, High Fae, Soul Crystals, the Spinning Wheel Wars, etc, just assume it's one of those elements.
With that outta the way, let's get to this...
Kyoya Reynard
Twisted from: Robin Hood and Nick Wilde from Zootopia
He's the second child of a lord from the Rose Queendom. After seeing other rich people around him treat the less fortunate with disdain, he vows to help them when he can, and never become that way. He sometimes goes into the Scarabia treasure vault to steal the riches from there to give to the poor within his family’s lands. Jamil knows about this, but willingly turns a blind eye, knowing that they are so rich that they would never find out or care.
He's a clever, quick witted fox beastman and a natural smooth talker. He can talk himself out of trouble just as easily as he can talk himself into it.
He is also stubborn, prideful, and impulsive, rarely thinking things through and often dragging others into his problems along the way.
He's one of Jamil's dormmates. He and Jamil have a frenemies sort of relationship. Kyoya likes to try stealing bits of food or ruffling his hair to see if he will catch him in the act, seeing it as a challenge. Jamil catches him most of the time, but there are some times where he gets away with it. Deep down, Jamil rather enjoys his antics.
Kyoya is the closest thing he has to an actual true friend on campus outside Yuan Xinghao before Addie and Lizzie arrived to that world. He trusts and cares for him far more than he'll ever admit for the longest time.
If Addie never showed up in Twisted Wonderland, Jamil would've ended up with him as a partner. Instead he ends up with Yuan Zixan (another OC).
Vasily ZhĂ o
Twisted from: Hans from Frozen and Narissa from Enchanted
He is a siren from the Unseelie Court, who comes from a line of low-ranking palace workers for the Draconias. His father has raised him to do whatever it takes to become High King of the Unseelie Court.
Unlike Meng Yao from The Untamed, who he shares some unintentional similarities with, he fully is on board with his father’s plans to break free of his lowly station. In order to do this, he decided to pursue Adriana, who he strongly suspects might be a princess and the bastard daughter of one of the princes of his court, forcing her to marry him in hopes of using that as a stepping stone to eventually become High King of the Unseelie Court. Whether his assumptions about her are true, only time will tell.
In many ways, he's exactly like what some people in the fandom accuse Jamil of being. A power-hungry social climber who just wants to be the head of the Asim family enterprise and will do anything to be just that, including completely immoral acts like killing Kalim, despite that not being remotely the case.
The fact that he's exactly like a fae version of Addie's ex, Stefan Li, in both looks and personality, makes him hit very close to home for her.
Rhiannon Étienne
Twisted from: Princess Tiana from The Princess and the Frog
She dreams of opening her own restaurant one day to honour her late father's dream and help out her community. She lives with her mother, who's a tailor and inspiring designer. She's very close with her nana and cousin, Sam, who owns the Mystery Shop at Night Raven. She decided to go along with Carly's plan just so she can be closer to her cousin after not seeing him in years.
During her first year at Enchanted Rose, she got a job at the lounge thanks to mirror travel being commonplace in this universe. In order to sign her employment contract, she needed to peck Azul on the lips to activate his Unique Magic, due to him being the assistant manager there at the time and his boss neglecting his duties as usual. Once she did that, it activated their True Love Marks, saying they are essentially soulmates. This shocked the two of them. After treating things professionally doesn't work, Azul decided that he needed to become head prefect of Octanivelle to make her one of his managers to make them equals and erase the power imbalance between them. The two become closer over this time.
Azul won the duel, making him head prefect and the owner of the lounge. He makes Jade his vice and her the assistant manager. They officially become an item.
She’s a hardworking, bright, resourceful and ambitious woman, who wants to open up her own restaurant one day to help her community. However, she often takes on more than what she can chew to point that she often burns out and stresses herself out a fair bit. She can be irritable, stubborn, pragmatic and one track minded, having a hard time seeing from other people’s perspectives.
Carlotta "Carly" Patin
Twisted from: Lottie from The Princess and the Frog
A bubbly rich girl from Port of Jubilee and life long friend to Rhiannon thanks to her mother being a regular client of her family. She wanted her and Rhiannon to attend Enchanted Rose in order to get rich hot boyfriends from RSA and NRC. After some convincing, Rhiannon comes along for the ride.
While she can be ditzy, careless and selfish, she is loyal and protective of those she cares about, willing to do anything to help those close to her. She is quite ambitious like her friend, wanting to create her own fashion line.
Nefert El-Massoud
Twisted from: Mozenrath from the Aladdin TV series
She’s a non-mage, who attends Enchanted Rose via their non-mage program and later joins the VDC team. (Being a non-mage is considered a disability in this universe, since being a mage is the norm there.) She's one of the adopted daughters of the fellow Court Mage, Omar, who works alongside Miss Rosehearts. She is a noble, and wealthy in her own right, including having access to perks like having a familiar to help with her "disability."
Due to her being put down and belittled for being a non-mage for years along with feeling like she’s a disappointment to her adopted father, she decided to buy a magical gauntlet from the dark web in hopes that it would turn her into a mage. After she got the gauntlet in the mail, she slipped it on. All magic comes at a price. The gauntlet used her as the power source and started slowly turning her into a skeleton due to needing energy to work. In order to save her life, her adopted father and Miss Rosehearts had to amputate her lower arm before the magic could reach her vital organs. (Insert "one good deed Miss Rosehearts" joke here.) She got a robotic prosthetic arm thanks to being part of Idia’s online party members and him wanting to show off his robotic chops more.Â
Personality wise, at a first glance, she’s kind of a bitch. But once you get past this side of her, she is quite loving, sarcastic and is super ride or die for those she truly cares about. Her biggest weakness is that her ambition and lust for power can be so strong that it can override her common sense. She often makes stupid decisions, sometimes at a very heavy cost to herself. She’s a huge tsundere.Â
Xinghao "Xander" Yuan
Twisted from: Shan Yu from Mulan
He is a Fear Dorcha fae and the crown prince of the Night Court within the Unseelie Court. After the Spinning Wheel Wars, his mother Amren (yes, that one) confined him and his younger brother, Zixin Yuan, within the court following the deaths of their father, Rhysand, Feyre, and their unborn son. Overcome with grief, she believed keeping them in a gilded cage was the only way to keep them alive. The prolonged isolation took its toll, and the brothers eventually rebelled by sneaking out to explore, often getting into trouble as a result.
Years later, at the urging of one of her advisors, Amren gradually loosened her control. She first allowed them to explore Velaris, then eventually permitted them to attend university on the other side of the Veil so they could gain real experience beyond the court.
At Night Raven, he remains something of a loner, only being close to his brother, retainer, his partner and somewhat Jamil. Within Scarabia, his role is best described as the "Cater" of the dorm. When Jamil needs an extra set of hands or must be elsewhere, he occasionally relies on him due to his trustworthiness and competence. He starts out as a good acquaintance of Jamil, and then becomes actual friends with him over the course of the story.
He is a cunning and commanding figure with a regal, prideful demeanor. He’s fiercely determined, always seeking to assert his strength and dominance. Though usually composed and calculating, he can act rashly when emotionally provoked or caught off guard. Beneath his cold exterior, he’s very kind and is deeply loyal and protective of those he holds dear. Cross someone he loves, and he won’t just seek revenge, he’ll never forget. His biggest insecurity is feeling like he's stealing Nyx's, Feyre's unborn son, throne and that he's unworthy of it.
He has a serious girlfriend and True Love, Su Meiying, who is twisted from one of the flowers of the Goddess of Spring.
Aziza Al-Asim
Twisted from: Princess Jasmine (2019)
She is the crown princess of the Scalding Sands, having a twin brother, Jibrani (Minajael), along with two younger sisters. She is in an arranged marriage with her cousin, Kalim, at her uncle's behest. She hates this. While she loves Kalim as family, she doesn't see him in that light and wants to make that choice for herself. The fact that her father is so trusting and naive, wanting to follow Kalim's father's every command, even the ones that are clearly terrible ideas that only benefit him, doesn't help much.
If Adriana is like the animated version of Jasmine personality wise, then Aziza is like the live action one along with Annabeth from Percy Jackson. She’s a bold, inspiring leader who dreams of guiding her country and doing right by her people. Outspoken and compassionate, she has a fiery spirit, a sharp tongue, and an adventurous streak that fuels her desire for freedom.
But beneath all that confidence, she’s still somewhat sheltered and a little naive, and her stubborn pride can sometimes make her act recklessly. Determined as she is, she doesn’t always see things from other people’s perspectives, missing some of the complexities they face.
Makoa Kapule
Twisted from: Stitch from Lilo & Stitch
He's a dog beastman from the Kaiola Isles (Hawaii), and one of Addie's coworkers at the lounge along with one of Jamil's dormmates. He was taken in by the Kapule family in a "hanai" (informal adoption) agreement when he was kid after his parents died in an accident, due to the families being super close. Despite this, he is close with his adopted uncle and younger sister, even if he's only older than her by a few days.
Makoa is surprisingly pretty laid back and easy to get along with. Don’t let this fool you. He was sorted into Scarabia for a reason. He’s quite mischievous, cunning and clever, using his wits to prank others and cause trouble. Considering he’s like his friend, Floyd Leech, in the sense that he’s very restless and prone to boredom. This is more often than what you would think. He's highly intelligent and quick-thinking, being one of the smartest people in that dorm academically speaking.
Jamil isn't fond of him, keeping eye out for any trouble he might cause. The feeling is mutual. He sees Jamil as an overbearing, hardass, being tempted to use the voodoo doll that his little sister gave him as a gift on him one too many times.
Mahina Kapule
Twisted from: Lilo from Lilo and Stitch
One of Addie's coworkers at the lounge, she’s an independent and passionate oddball attending Enchanted Rose. Her parents died when she was in kindergarten. Because her sister was barely legal at the time, her uncle and aunt, Ivan and Debby (TWST Jumba and Pleakley), stepped in to care for her and her sister under a “hanai” arrangement.
Growing up under such stress, Mahina struggled with depression and often acted out as a kid. When she was about to enter middle school, her family took in Makoa under a similar “hanai” agreement after he lost his parents in a tragedy due to their families being close. While her older sister had doubts, Mahina took to him instantly, and the two became fast best friends. Over time, Mahina grew calmer, often acting as a voice of reason for her older brother while deepening her bond with him.
With her deep love of animals, dance and ohana, she’s known for her quirky personality and fierce loyalty. She is rather outspoken and will stand up for her beliefs. Like her adoptive brother, she can be quite mischievous and a big trouble maker in her own right.Â
God we’re getting so close to the end
Damn, I can’t believe Nox and phantom are stuck in the shadow realm.
that aside I do love how the dream has essentially gone full circle except Baku is the “kidnapper” lol.
Plus, making the twist be that nem was in the real world during that dream sequence is also really good. also Odaka making the bet with Fujimi!! Love that shit.
God, we only have like maybe five or four episodes left huh?
The first rider season to actually be shown worldwide is coming to a close. Crazy ain’t it? Still looking forward to seeing whatever My-Th is about.
So @tristis-333 and some others asked about the OCs in my and @stormkitty97's fics. I want to do that, especially due to the fact it's been a hot minute since I ever did that and things changed a lot. I only want to cover the leads (aka the "Yuus"/OCs) in this one. I'll talk about the other ones later. Just to keep this post from getting super long. So...
(As a side note, everyone is aged up by a couple years. All of the NRC and RSA students are adults.)
Adriana "Addie/Ria" Jasmine Canul GarcĂa
Personality: Adriana is analytical, strategic, a quick planner and quite clever. She usually appears calm and composed, even when she's feeling anxious or in dire situations like Overblots.
Once she undergoes some character development, her sass, wit and dry sense of humour will truly shine and become more prominent. She's willing to question things and speak up when it matters, standing up for her loved ones.
On the flip side, Adriana is highly guarded and secretive, often keeping things from even those closest to her. She tends to overthink, stay in her own head, and approach situations with excessive caution. Growing up in a wealthy family also gave her some himedere tendencies, making her seem aloof, hold herself and others to high standards, and occasionally use subtle manipulation to maintain control or protect herself emotionally.
Background: Adriana used to be one of the popular mean girls at her secondary school (high school) in Vancouver, Canada, until one incident during her senior year destroyed her reputation overnight. Everyone blamed her for what happened, and she quickly became the school's perfect villain. The truth was far more complicated than people were willing to admit, but by then, no one cared.
In the span of a few weeks, everything she'd built for herself fell apart. Her so called friends abandoned her, and her boyfriend admitted he'd only been using her for her looks and social status while cheating on her behind her back. By graduation, she'd become a complete recluse, skipping her grad party and shutting herself off from everyone as she spiralled into depression.
Adriana internalized everything people said about her and became convinced she had zero redeeming qualities beyond being attractive. In her mind, anyone who was actually smart would've seen through her act immediately. It's complete bullshit, but she doesn't realize that till the events of the fic unfold.
Paired with: Jamil Viper
Extra Facts:
Aspects of her personality are heavily inspired by Princess Jasmine (1992 & 2019) and Dipper Pines. Her negative traits are inspired by Jafar (1992 & 2013) along with the Evil Queen (1937).
She is also inspired by Sokka, Jo March, Cleo DeNile (Monster High G1) and Poppy Moore, especially the last one.
Her backstory is inspired by the Odile (the Black Swan) from the Swan Lake ballet, Caleb Widogast and Maleficent (2014).
If she identified as male and was a mage, she would’ve been sorted into Diasomnia.
If she had to pick only one favourite Disney movie, it would be the animated Aladdin movie.
She is inspired by the "American Mean Girl" archetype. However, she "fell from grace" prior to the events of the story, and will slowly grow into a better person, despite being surrounded by "villains."
Her first name's a reference to the voice actress for Snow White, Adriana Caselotti. (Also, because it’s a super common name in Mexico and other parts of Latin America where her ancestry stems from.)
Elisabeth "Aria" Ren
Personality: Lizzie isn't one to freak out. When she does, it's usually all in her own head, and she's able to pull herself together quickly to focus on the task at hand.
She's a bit of a know-it-all and hates not being good at something, but it only makes her more determined to succeed. She's bookish, usually preferring books over people, though she'll happily fangirl over anything fae-related.
She has a short fuse, a fiery temper, and a sarcastic streak that can make her come across as rude without meaning to. Her remarks can be incredibly biting, and when she's angry, she knows exactly which buttons to press. She's also petty, selfish, and can hold a grudge for a long time, often going out of her way to get even with people who cross her.
Despite that, she's fiercely loyal to the people in her inner circle and will defend them without hesitation. Outside of that, though, she has a very Slytherin-like mindset. If she doesn't care about you, she couldn't give a rat's ass. With the people she does love, she's constantly teasing them and pushing their buttons. She's also impulsive, often blurting things out without thinking, but she's surprisingly observant and remembers the little things about people.
Background: Lizzie comes from an upper class of druids from England and is very close with her twin brother, Connor.
She spent much of her childhood buried in books, especially anything related to the fae. She knows an almost ridiculous amount about their myths, customs, rules, and formal speech.
Her bookish nature, tendency to correct people, and habit of isolating herself made her a bit of a social outcast growing up. She had a few friends but was never particularly social. She was a high-achieving student, a prefect, and part of the fencing team, becoming the head girl during her final year.
Paired with: Malleus Draconia
Extra Facts:
Aspects of her personality are heavily inspired by Belle (2017), Hermione Granger, Luna Lovegood and Alice (2010 and 2013), Eilonwy, Elizabeth Swan, Elizabeth Bennett and Evie Carnhan. Her negative traits are inspired by Queen Grimhilde (1937), Regina Mills (2011-2018) and Maleficent (1959)
She is a mage, who can use a little magic. However, it’s limited to small spells like druidcraft and vicious mockery.
However she is very good at cooking which extends to being quite good at potions.
.HEEYYY!!! What’s up? It’s WMAP!
.I just wanted to say, thanks for protecting swift, like honestly.

Hey if you haven’t watched the new Walten files episode do me a favor and do cause oh my God. below will just be a disjointed ramble about it.
How is it that every single depiction of Rosemary’s death is more brutal and visceral than the last? Like I’m pretty sure we’ve gone through at least three different versions of this scene and somehow this one has just completely overtaken all of the others.
like good God…that shit was unrelenting….
having very complicated feelings about Jack Walten. Like on the one hand there’s a lot of moments where I’m like “ you know maybe he was a better father and husband than all of us gave him credit for” and then… there are just.. the moments where you can see the…flaws.. I’d have make a whole like analysis and go back to some of the scenes to get my full thoughts out but, the key points are;
The obviously caring but vaguely(being generous here) patronizing way he talks about his wife to his daughter as she’s going through…a lot..
the less than healthy ways he handles the grief he’s also going through, and by handle I mean bottling up everything until it inevitably breaks him. Or as I like to call it “ 70s style, men’s mental health death spiral special”
jokes aside I like that. I like that he’s not the bad dad but also not a perfect dad. He’s just.. trying his best. All of them are I think..
I keep thinking about that scene between Jack and Rose in the parking lot…. So unbelievably bittersweet. So well done yet painful..
You know the Walten files is very roundabout drunk driving psa/ advertisement for therapy.
like just wanna say everyone deserves therapy ya’ll. Like everyone. Doesn’t matter how much you think you don’t, everyone deserves the chance to get help, helping themselves.
That being said honestly, if Rosie had outright murdered Felix, I don’t think anybody could blame her ngl. fuck Felix ong.
Every single time she blamed herself I just…. I just felt my stomach drop a bit..
god.. the fucking wedding tapes scene…
Also how the hell am I dealing with two traumatizing lake scenes within months of each other wtf?! What the fuck are the chances of that???
Bon is so genuinely fucking disturbing in this one man. Like I think this is genuinely the scariest he’s ever been… maybe scary’s not the right word.. upsetting’s probably closer…. Either way that is one disturbed ass rabbit. Like If it really is Jack underneath that thing(which even I’m not sure if I fully believe at this point) I think he’s right in saying that whatever he was, doesn’t matter… what he is, is disturbing.. so unbelievably disturbing…
You know I think at this point the series doesn’t so much scare me as it…just makes me sad. its a very sorrowful story.
uh… Chris is a real one? I think that’s all I got.
I should read murderbot
