All Tauruses (Sun, Moon, Rising, Sign, Degree & House) need to be surrounded by things to keep them grounded not to be materialistic per se. What may be viewed as materialistic is an insatiable need to feel grounded due to being born into a lack of stability faced in the earlier or later years. Essentially it (house, car, jewelry, etc) helps them feel safe and secure because of the inevitable uprooting of their foundation.

Moon Taurus - seems to have an issue with the mother not providing a home for them. This could be because she is alive, but physically absent (by giving up the child to relatives or she died leaving the child homeless). This will happen usually before the child is 21. She could also be emotionally absent, but physically present leaving the child to live with her in horrible living conditions/struggling living conditions. This Moon in Taurus child at some point in life will face homelessness (or their foundation will be uprooted) (in earlier years).

Moon Taurus women because of this will marry well. They strive for stability in their partner. They will look at what their partner has or what his family has. They strive to be taken care of. They do not embody traditional wife roles when they do marry well.

Moon Taurus men will strive to be the ultimate provider to never face homelessness again. He will marry a maternal (insert water sign) type to assuage his absent mommy issues as well. Sun Taurus loves to stay indoors. Their fathers are completely absent whether it is emotionally or physically. Their mom strives to overcompensate by giving them the world materialistically making her absent emotionally. No matter how old they get they almost always never leave home and are perpetual “mommy's baby” types. This almost always handicaps the child mentally or even physically.

Taurus Rising usually has absent grandparents. One or more of the grandparents served as the provider. Once absent (usually during the very early years of the child’s life) the Taurus Rising grandchild may face homelessness with their parent. Taurus Rising must always look put together to compensate for the lack of stability starting from their grandparents.

Chiron Taurus may face instability (homelessness) during the latter half of their life like everything and everyone will be wiped clean from their lives (parents and grandparents).
