Namchi is one of the most picturesque tourist places of Sikkim, nestled in the lap of the Himalaya at about 5500 ft above the sea level. Namchi offers a breathtaking view of Mt. Kanchenjunga range and the Rangit valley. It is only 78 Km from Gangtok, the capital town o Sikkim.  We visited it from Gangtok on a Day trip via Ravangla.
