Apr 17 - gamed a bit, watched a lot more of Pursuit of Jade. Getting close to the end of it.
Made chili and rice for supper.
Apr 18 - low motives today, mostly just lazed in bed having my tablet read fics to me. Once I was up I played some more Timberborn to knock out a few more accomplishments; tackled them on a map where I already had a thriving Folktails civilization going, so I just needed to build the items required to get several of them finished (such as a zipline network with at least 1 kilometer of total lines, and one each of everything Folktails can build).
For supper I dug leftover Hungarian goulash out of the freezer, which we had with rice, beans, and cauliflower.
...and now to go watch the last few episodes of Pursuit of Jade before sleeping.
Edited to add: spring is FINALLY rolling through! There's bare ground under our backyard trees and to both sides of the driveway, the snow has gone from several feet deep to only a foot or so left. Someone on the town Facebook posted videos of the local river with high water and broken ice floating away, and the local creek white-watering down the rock face into the river. Every time I looked out there were more birds to spot, from little songbirds of unknown type to a pair of geese or ducks flying low overhead (all I could really tell about them was 'not Canada Geese' - they were too small for that). We even got up into the teens Celsius for the second time in the last few days.
