I got laid off from my job because there was an upper management decision to let go of the most recent hires from each team and area.
Sucks to be jobless at 30, having chronic health issues and in the process of moving places.
Idk why I’m telling this, hoping in a year to look back and say “well it got better” or maybe this post reaching someone going through the same and seeing how common is for CEOs to be greedy assholes with no humanity? ~~Luigi my goat~~
That’s it. Being in STEM sucks these days: investigation is defunded in my country, teachers are earning between 100 -500 usd a month that doesnt hold a living here… and if you are in the applied or industry side like me, layoffs and instability are becoming more common day by day.
