Her 1st design was gonna be her usual Orange and Blonde . . .

Her 2nd design was gonna be based off her dad's and AppleBlooms color pallet but I decided against it cuz I was keeping AppleBloom's og colors!

So we got the mud and sticks look! I wanted to keep her hat but the milk brown would of blended in so i just ruined it and made it red and white with a pretty rope thread on it!I definitely gave her lime green eyes cuz I like the dumb idea of the word Lime and Lies matching so yeah lol Cuz Honesty is her whole shtick ya know?

I wanted her to still have some swag with her mane and colors lol But I thought pigtails were cute! Also if I was working like she does on the farm, I would want my tail short so it wouldn't drag.

Ngl I wasn't thinking of cow girl boots while coloring but ONE OF HER SOCKS DON'T FIT Lol.It's ok cuz one of her shoes are on the wrong foot lol I wanted to mention her scars! I hate barbwire. I thought it was a nice but sad touch. Also, I gave her Bat pony like ears to represent the Bats episode! YES, I know Fluttershy is the one who got magically turned but still!!! Yes, she is shorter than Big Mac and is the oldest of her siblings in my head cannon! Three different colored apples(Cutie Mark) I thought would be cute to represent her family! (Big Macs Green, AppleBlooms Red, and Grannies is Yellow)

APPLES JACK

I based her design on a bust drawing I did of her a few months ago that I liked, which is probably why the shading on this so closely resembles that set, but I'm not fully sure if it works on this drawing. I wanted her to have a longer, more square muzzle, but the hair covering the part where it meets her head kinda just make it look like her while head is a total different shadow than the rest of the girls. I think I can fix this in future drawings by lowering the bridge of the nose in comparison to the eyes, or by drawing the bridge as more flat and less of a slope. I also think the whole head is kinda too big for her body, at least when compared with the other drawings. And her hat is too small. Looking at it now, I might also add back in her freckles from the show. Pinkie would probably look cute with them too...

Her bandana is from the bust profile, and since I drew AJ second I decided all the rest of the drawings must also have some type of accessory, which is partly why 5 out of 6 have earrings. the other reason is that it looked so dang cute on Pinkie!

Of course I gave her some curly texture to the hair, I thought it looked interesting and it matches her mother on the show. I used the light blonde from her coat markings to add color variance. I also replaced that weird, hairtie-at-the-end ponytail thing with a short mane and braided tail. My HC is that Applejack cuts her own hair as well as her sisters', and likes hers short and out of the way, but I think Applebloom braided her tail for her. maybe she only started growing it long after Bloom started wanting to braid it.

IK I wrote more dislikes than likes for this one, and honestly she's my last fave drawing in this set, but I forgive my design bc she looks so cute in her bust drawing:
