These Crockpot Apple Butter Yeast Rolls are soft, fluffy, and infused with the delicious flavor of apple butter. They make a perfect accompaniment to any meal or a delightful snack on their own.
Ingredients: 1 cup apple butter. 1/2 cup warm water. 2 1/4 teaspoons active dry yeast. 1/4 cup granulated sugar. 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted. 1 teaspoon salt. 2 large eggs. 4 1/2 cups all-purpose flour.
Instructions: Mix yeast with warm water in a small bowl. Let it sit for 5 minutes until it foams up. Put apple butter, sugar, melted butter, salt, eggs, and the activated yeast mixture in a large bowl. Mix well. Mix in the flour little by little until a dough forms. Put the dough in a slow cooker that has been greased. Cover it and leave it somewhere warm for an hour. The rolls will be golden brown and cooked all the way through after two to three hours of cooking on low heat. Enjoy while still warm!
