I was thinking about like a scene where they basically play keep away with Chris's phone, like they're in practice or something and it's a break where Chan is smiling at his phone and one of the boys just either notices it or peaks to see who he's texting and they like formulate a plan to grab his phone to talk to her or something I don't know but I thought that could be cute
Hehehe ok so here's how it starts:
Changbin clocks Chan being smiley at his phone/checking it with more enthusiasm than usual.
He brings it up to the other boys in passing.
Felix: Oh yeah, he had a date the other night. I bet it's her.
Now these boys have 0 concept of personal space and/or privacy when it comes to each other okay LOL remember when Minho was mad Seungmin didn't tell him about the new mole he noticed? Yeah. Exactly.
So if Chan isn't gonna bring this up organically, they can and WILL snoop.
It starts with them trying to sneak peeks at his phone screen anytime it lights up. (Whoever spots the juiciest notif gets free coffee the next day).
Then, Han decides to take it up a notch. They know the password to Chan's phone, so when Chan steps away for a moment, he unlocks it.
Problem is, as Han is snooping through texts, Y/N texts him.
And now it has the read receipt AND since it's opened there's not a notif anymore, so Chan would be suspicious PLUS he'd accidentally be leaving this girl on read-
So his panic induced brilliance results in him deciding to just reply to her. Boom. Great. Then lock the phone and whenever she texts back Chan will see THAT notif and 100% not question the previous reply he didn't send.
Chan doesn't mention it, so Han considers it a win, personally.
When Han announces this to the group gossip session however-
Hyunjin: (throws his hands in the air) I didn't know just straight up UNLOCKING HIS PHONE was an option!
Seungmin: Did you even see what else they texted about?
Han: I don't know! I panicked and forgot it all!
After heated debate they decide the new operation is to semi ditch stealth and see who can text Y/N the most without her or Chan noticing.
This is a ridiculous plan and rapidly escalates to them just grabbing the phone from Chan's hand and sprinting away.
What's wild is... Y/N starts to very accurately guess who is texting her when it's not Chan.
They all start trying to be more and more elaborate in their language or capitalization (because there's a bet on the line!! And theyre all losing!!), but she keep guessing right and Jeongin keeps winning the bet-
Because turns out, Jeongin swiped Chan's phone at the dorm and gave himself Y/N's number. He introduced himself and they now text casually and he also always immediately messages her whenever someone gets Chan's phone to tell her who it is (and he's been splitting the bet money with her as a result).
The boys are playfully furious (and Chan is laughing but also begs them to stop stealing his phone please and thank you) until they also realize-
Changbin: Wait, we could've just been texting her ourselves this whole time?
Han: When did YOU get her number???
Felix: We're friends on Steam! I just asked!!
And now they have a GC with her in it too hehe the end
