DAY EIGHTEEN: BL Drama That Was A Major Let Down

Literally the only eps I liked were the ones where they all went to visit Apo’s family home because we got that cute scene of Apo and Waii sleeping in that tent. It was problematic and complicated for no reason...and some of the storylines were boring.

Also I understand that sexuality can be fluid and everything but for GMMTV to act like Pan was a lesbian and give her a girlfriend complete with her pursuing said girlfriend AND to have her identify as a lesbian throughout the entire series ONLY to have her end up with a boy made me feel some type of way. I know she could’ve been bisexual after all and just hadn’t realized it which is cool, but it all felt so fake to me.

Also the whole part where Waii forced himself on Apo and then gave that half-assed apology was just terrible. And that says a lot coming from a person that liked TharnType because lord knows that whole show was controversial as fuck. Also the whole storyline with Waii’s bestie secretly dating his father???? Fucking GAG! Waii was supposed to be what? 18? Which means his friend was too right?? What type of predatory shit is that? 

Also Waii being wishy-washy about who he wanted to be with while actively cheating on his girlfriend and clearly being more interested in Apo was annoying. His dumb ass made Apo fucking leaving the whole country with his choosing. Apo didn’t deserve it. 

Anyways I’m done ranting. As you can see...my opinions are still strong about this damn show.

ONE MORE THING!! ACHI DID NOT DESERVE ANY OF THE BULLSHIT! NONE OF IT! HE WAS JUST FINE BEING THE PRESIDENT OF WAIIS FANCLUB! THAT HUMILIATION KLUAY PUT HIM THROUGH TO “PROTECT” HIM WAS FUCKED UP AND HE SHOULDN’T HAVE FORGIVEN HIM.
