hi physics people i need your help. is it in any way possible to solve a kinematics equation using 2 variables? got a question on a test today that im convinced wasnt possible but i dont want to bring it up to the teacher and then be incredibly wrong (for context the only variable we got was initial velocity and part of the displacement, we needed to find the other part of the displacement)

i love space and space exploration and astronomy and everything about all of them to death but if i have to draw a free body diagram of one more object only to inevitably forget one force (bonus points if it's a vertical component) i might explode
