@/ValkosKnot on twt sparked this idea and I just had to let the wolf come to life at least once from my own thoughts.
No warnings that I know of...
The blank look in his eyes as he stared at you almost cracked your serious demeanor. Oh he wasn't used to being refused like this. And you couldn't help but feed off of it. You placed your hands on your hips for good measure, giving him a once over.
"I am not leaving without the data."
He cleared his throat and crossed his arms over his chest playing off the shock into sassy annoyance.
"Excuse you, deal or not, the shots being called in this office? Still all mine. You're a hunter, go do your hunter things."
You rolled your eyes before turning away and choosing to ignore him as you blatantly flipped his laptop open, making yourself comfortable in his chair.
"Those are highly confidential company information, miss hunter, don't you dare!"
He closed the distance between the door and the desk in a couple of long strides and reached over to shut the laptop but you were faster in pulling the device away right from under his fingers.
"These are my hunter things!"
You activated your watch, defiantly staring back at him as it linked with his laptop.
"Oh so You're planning on compromising this whole thing by being an unreasonable brat, are you?"
You huffed, as much as you liked pushing his buttons, you were certain, he would be able to snatch his laptop away in the next move he was going to make so you needed to distract him somehow as your watch did the job in the background. Feigning annoyance you jumped to your feet.
"Okay, you better stop whining and listen up you big mutt!"
You reached up as you took a step forward into his space, finger sharply pointing at him before pressing your hand down on his shoulder. It was almost comical, how you were being bossy towards this almost 2 meter of a man while you had to raise your hand high up to even reach his shoulder as you craned your neck back to look him in the eyes. Almost comical; if it wasn't for the way his knees immediately buckled under the faint pressure of your hand and he plopped down unceremoniously onto the seat behind him, eyes wide, jaw clenched and heart pounding in his ears.
He never once broke eye contact as he looked up at you, eye twitching in annoyance as he swallowed what seemed to be the remnants of his pride. You smirked and his eyes narrowed.
"You're such a good boy, aren't you?"
The blush that exploded over his cheeks and up to the tips of his ears was in direct contrast to the pissed off look he was giving you as his frown deepened. But your watch wasn't done with the data analysis, and neither were you.
"I asked you a question."
You hooked your finger under his chin and tilted his head up higher as you leaned down to face him properly.
"I am a very good boy." He hissed as his lips parted in a half-hearted snarl, sharp teeth poking through, but all it did was give you a surge of cute aggression as you grabbed his cheeks with both hands and smooshed them together while cooing at him, his hands shot up to grab your wrists to stop you from squeezing his head while he chuckled lightly, his face still hot from the embarrassment of losing the control and authority of the situation.
"Hey! Easy there! You're messing up my hair!"
You laughed and pulled back, blowing him a kiss as you started walking towards the door while you checked your watch, certain that the data transfer was done by now.
You stopped dead in your tracks, before turning around to glare at his shit eating grin.
He had touched your watch when he grabbed your wrist.
The data transfer was canceled.
You were back to square one.
Maybe you should've been more clear on what to command.
