Thank you for your consideration- venetian snares: a lot can be said. his fans crowdfunded him out of debt and he gave us free tracks with no release ever planned that felt so true to himself. each track has a unique (aaron) funk and it really just shows he still has a passion and was so grateful to share things he may not have wanted to, despite being outstanding

clppng - clipping.: holy fuck. i can really only say. the satire and comedy and parody and critique and realness as well as the sound and flow? fucking amazing

there existed an addiction to blood - clipping.: basically the same just more metaphors and scarier scenarios and blood of the fang, and attunement. good songs

the powers that b - death grips: along with the way NOTM dropped saying the rest would come next year dropping that 2 years later, the first half blew me the fuck away. beyond anything id heard in hiphop. and the community that formed was fun until.. not fun ppl became prevalent. along w being my favorite sonically, it also has my favorite lyrics from them. botomless pit was close but its just not quite this

exai - autechre: holy fuck. if you dont like autechre this might be an interesting place to start cause it helps you listen to the way the sounds... sound, and evolve. as well as make cool melodies and beats while all being coherent in flow? incredible

nts sessions 1-4 - autechre: literally so. the first one emphasizes theyre beat and song structure and melody writing the best. the second is the clearest for the best on sound manipulation. the 3rd is how good they are at making music that... sounds like you didnt even listen to despite having a clear beat .hard to comprehend and sickass melodies and stuff too. and the 4th was ambience and a very complex show of skill in that field too. fantastic.

run the jewels 2 - R.Kelly: nah jokes aside this is really a good commentary on the aggression in hiphop and the unfairness of the rich against us. killer mike shines so damn bright

the impossible kid - aesop rock: really all from the heart, starts.you off easy to understand then get more complex but helps you understand the metaphors and context. fucking so much passion in this.
