so.. you know how all of this started with eren and armin's dream? exploring what's behind the wall. seeing what it's like, how it feels.

and then, during the rambling, eren feels the freedom he was searching for, his entire life. this is what freedom feels like , he thinks. and then he asks armin— is this really freedom? is this what it is? as if not sure, as if not knowing what the hell is he doing and why is he doing it, he's looking for his best friends, whom they shared a dream, trying to ask "is this what we wanted? it this our dream?" and ofc armin can't answer at that moment. but IF armin considered talking to eren alone.. he could make him think about the whole thing twice. something that i doubt anyone else was capable of it.
