They are LITERALLY two halves of a whole, separated and placed in families meant to be bitter enemies. Despite all efforts to keep them apart, and then to put them in conflict, they instantly feel that kinship on meeting each other. After knowing each other for less than an hour, they declare each other their only friend. Ao Bing, despite missing his family terribly, chooses being with Ne Zha over his own father because he knows his place is with his other half.
