I need help translating actions into words for my Fanfic
In 1947, the Olympic Peninsula became a staging ground for a promising new technology.
As rumors of its utopian creations spread, so did story's about overnight evacuations, unsolved disappearances, and unnatural encounters.
In 1955, the government walled off a section of the Peninsula to establish the Olympic Exclusion Zone.
For 30 years, the Zone’s borders grew, until the government withdrew and sealed every access point.
What happened inside was never disclosed.

Becker looked at the clipboard that had his route on it. 8253 W. Brookstone Ave. Half the route was along the wall, on a dirt road.
Could he still pull out now? He looked behind him, and the ferry was already gone. Too late.
Just do the route.
He set the van in drive, and started down the winding road. It was quite peaceful, actually. There were no other cars driving on the road, only the ones on the side of the road.
It started sprinkling as he went up a hill. He turned his wipers on, and continued on
Hi Moon! I wanted to ask you for advice as a fanfic writer. How does one go about getting a beta reader? I have been struggling with my fic and I would really love someone's help 😔
Oof, I wish I could be of help. I got my previous beta readers by accident (readers who offered to do it), but I heard that the best place to ask is the r/AO3 on Reddit, or you could try r/ASOIAF if the fic is ASOIAF.
Pls make sure to ask in an official place and vet the person beforehand, as you have a lot of scam profiles, on tumblr and on AO3 trying to bait authors into paying for a shit service.

Therapy: Your worth is not determined by external validation.
Me: Absolutely. Completely agree.
AO3: No new comments.
Me: Well now hold on. Let's not say things we can't take back.
The good news is that I am apparently VERY excited about my own story.
The bad news is that I should never be trusted with a posting schedule. 🙈
A few days ago: "This chapter is really important. I want to give it room to breathe. I'm going to wait until Saturday to post the next chapter."
A day ago: "Okay, maybe Friday if I really can't wait."
Today, Wednesday: posts chapter
In my defense, I was very persuasive.
just posted a fic and for some reason it’s not appearing in the Other Bennet Sister tag.
My ao3 emails with fic updates I’m subscribed to have also been arriving with a big delay (a couple of hours but still) and it just confuses me.
Is someone else experiencing this regarding fics? Or is ao3 just trying to sabotage me?
