The two met cuz of their love to, well, edgy things. Both artist, different medium— Artia with her paintings, and Reed with his writings.

They met thanks to Bea ,who set them up on a blind date. Who knows how she convinced Artia to go in the first place, but for Reed it he was a bit easy to bribe.

Both realizing that they have an affinity for…edgy things (I really have no idea how to call it). They decided to become friends… for formality. Many moons later, Reed decided to ask her out on a date, which to his surprise she accepted. They became partners not long after. Artia's reason? She wanted to seek the thrill of being doomed lovers. Reed had no idea what she meant by that, but who was he to complain.

Artia would read his stories, and would sometimes be her ispiration for her works.

Jaune guard propaganda here: She was a little sketchy with Jaune on her first debut as an artist. Who was she to usurp her place in the line of art. Wasn't she a guard? Jaune tries her best to sort their one-sided rivalry out but Artia says nah. Jaune decided to just give in and playfully indulge in her 'grudge'.

She and Reed go on dates in the remote area near the Golden Settlement. It was the nearest Between Defiant Root and The Ant Kingdom.

Artia have may ran into some bandit trouble cuz of that. She just ends up running, getting rescued by bee guards, and one night even by Jaune.

Bugs knew Artia has a boyfriend— twas surprising really, tho none of them knew who it was. Seriously how'd she get a boyfriend?? Reed's a different story tho, majority of the tavern bugs knew about his and Artia's relationship, they just don't bring it up out of respect. With the exception of TSM and Jaune, they too keep their mouths shut. Still seriously how'd Reed manage to date her??

Artia upon finding out about Reed's connections was in awe, inspired, she wishes to be like him one day. Reed tries his best for that to not happen.

Theyre both saving up to buy a house in the settlement.

Reed would one day let her visit the tavern. One day. Once he makes sure they all behave.

They once taught each other of their own art forms, it both ended up in disaster. (Reed with painting and Artia with writing.

Both can cook pretty well. Its more of a basic survival chore for Reed and a past time for Artia. If given the chance they'd eat out.

Reed can fight. Not on a technical level, but still. Artia would sometimes ask him to teach her some skills. He agrees and teaches her basic self defence (Jaune Guard propaganda again: Jaune sometimes joins in, and help him teach.)

Speaking of painting, Artia had a few pieces where Reed's her subject. What can she do about it? Artia loves him— I mean his colors. She keeps this hidden tho. Very well

A little canon— Reed has gone noticeably softer when they started dating.

During one drunk night he accidentally told Bea that he wanted to marry her one day once he had enough funds to support the both of them. Doppel overheard and secretly raised his paycheck. Reed noticed not soon after but the two (Dops and Bea) gaslit him. "what are you on about, your pay's always been the same". He had no memory of this and actively denies it every time she brings it up.

Vi couldn't just help but tease Reed a little about Artia. Annoyed as he is, he cant do much about it. He can however, beat Vi up to a pulp (Vi dares him to do so). Kabbu apologizes in her behalf.

Certified bouncer of the tavern ( I mean, literally) But he has no power agaisnt experienced combatants/explorers throwing hands (ehem ehem Team Slacker). He's just a referee when things gets out of hand. If not, he's enjoying the view.

A lightweight btw, he can drink at least 2 cups of non-heavy berry juice, but that's it.

A brawler like Kabbu. He keeps two daggers hidden, but its only for a last case scenario. No he isnt going to tell Artia, and no she does not need to know about it neither.
