Head of Goddess Anuket

This wooden emblem of the goddess Anuket is a rather unique item and depicts the goddess with her famous ostrich feather headdress, with two depictions of the goddess on each side. She was the goddess of the First Cataract of the Nile and was associated with the Nubian region, she was worshipped at Elephantine.

During the New Kingdom, Anuket’s cult at Elephantine included a river procession of the goddess during the first month of Shemu. Inscriptions mention the processional festival of Khnum and Anuket during this period.

Anuket, goddess and protectress of the First Cataract, is the proud daughter of Satis and Khnum, with whom she forms the sacred Elephantine Triad. Fierce and fearless, she oversees the flow of the Nile during the inundation, ensuring abundance and prosperity throughout Kemet.

Anuket, she will be 6 years old soon. Don't mind the wet look, I just gave her a bath. She figured the layer life is not really for her and after going on a break with the help of a birth control implant she retired fairly quickly. We support hens who just wanna live their life egg free.

Brigid, also soon to be 6 years old. She's the head of the flock and doing an excellent job. She likes to complain and yell sometimes. The loudest since day 1.

Dahlia, almost 2 years old. Goes wild for meal worms and wants to be a lover, but still getting over her nerves. Her egg song has a... unique tone.

Lottie, almost 2 years old as well. She'll follow what the others are doing, mostly Dahlia. Gets lost in her own thoughts sometimes. Lowest in the pecking order, but the most stately appearance.
