So today at school we had a hard lockdown, which is basically an active shooter drill. Kids were fucking crying, one of my friends had a panic attack and others were just panicing. Adults tell us not to worry about shootings, but all over the news we hear about them, and my own school has the "bad" or "hood" kids.
As a student i dont feel safe in schools.
This is a problem, not for just me, not just my school, for all students in the US.
I hope they get their shit together and fix this so i dont have to be scared for my life in a place which is suppost to be safe.

Can’t believe I have testing (to determine whether my broke school deserves money) the day after a school shooting threat (that they didn’t even want to cancel school for). If I suddenly become incredibly inactive it’s probably because I was shot in that testing room.
