Yk the absolute bottom of the barrel least billionaires could do when forcing data centers into people’s homes is give them 5 million dollars. Everybody. Everybody in the entire town gets 5 million dollars.
5 million to everybody in a town of 1000 people? thats 5 billion dollars. Elon musk has a net worth of 865 billion dollars (since he dropped from trillionaire apparently). it would not even put a fucking DENT in JUST Musk’s bank account. Now imagine if we got that money from any and all billionaires funding data centers.
They would put a stop to Ai SO QUICK let me tell u.
Bon lundi et on oublie pas d'aller dire à doctolib de ne pas utiliser nos donnés médicales pour leur IA

Friendly reminder that no matter how smart or educated you (think you) are, you're still not immune to propaganda, scams, AI generated bullshit and misinformation.
If you think only idiots and boomers fall for it, you're just making yourself more vulnerable.
Finally got a comment on one of my latest chapters- accusing me of using AI because I post so fast. (3rd time since March)
Was gonna post another one tonight but I'm too mad to edit. I don't even use a grammar checker because fuck ai

I used to have this idea that I wanted to BECOME INTERNET FAMOUS, probably for the majority of my teenagehood. Then, the more I made the Internet my whole life, the more daunting and awful it felt to be known by anyone on the Internet. I didn't want to be Perceived by any Internet People.
Ironically, stepping away from the Internet is what made it feel like having people who follow me who I don't know personally actually isn't so bad. The difference being I now have a strong offline support network, so the reception of things I put on the Internet is no longer intermingled with my sense of community and social well being. I think it would be cool and sexy for people to call me cringe.
I CAN'T LET THE FIRST ANIME FROM MY COUNTRY BE "HALF" AI GENERATED, DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW TO FINISH A STORY IN A COOL WAY?
Let me explain, their plot and sauce is awesome, it's creator actually animated it's pilot (?) a few years ago but now they are using AI to make it an "anime" if you're curious search Davara Efsanesi in YouTube. It also has mythology in it which I deeply cherish and look forward to a lot ermm...
From my point of view, this is very disgraceful so maybe I can finish MY story and draw the first comic book BEFORE they release that thing.
I just. I just can't let it. I have potential trust.
I've been writing this comic for a year in my head it's about an 2010's apocalyptic world (basic ik, but fun) with water levels higher and extinct Cambrian arthropods brought back and we got MC who was working as a debt collector but then a series of circumstances happen like he gathers new friends, finds clues, saves people and he finds himself as opps with the immortal snail.
I can't share all of its lore here but yeah if you think it can save my country's fiction series writing reputation give me some tips
Google used to be a good resource for finding information. Now that the useful information has been pushed aside in favour of AI Overview, and previously before that it was pushed aside in favour of sponsored results, it's lost a lot of its previous usefulness. For a brief period after the release of ChatGPT I thought that AI would become the new Google searching. As time has gone on and my opinion of Gen AI has deteriorated, I've realized how biased and dangerous that is. I came across this poem recently:
And it sort of got me thinking, while this sounds lovely, it's not like this is a new thing to Gen AI. Prior to Gen AI, I would Google recipes or ask reddit for advice instead of asking my friends for recipes and advice.
But I think this enshittification has given us the golden opportunity to recreate what humans did prior to Google and Reddit. Let's start calling our friends for dinner ideas again.
If I don't know what to make for dinner, instead of Googling recipes, I want to ask a friend for their favourite recipe.
When I was looking for information about grants for PhD programs, instead of Googling it, I asked a friend who was knowledgeable about the subject and I got way more out of that than just Googling it.
Obviously I don't have a friend who's an expert on any topic, but I used to believe asking people for things I could just Google would bother them, but I think in a world where we're all desperate for connection, a lot of people would love to share the knowledge they know with a friend.
