Continued from here @antariazo Lena- donning a pair of vintage converse, jean shorts, an orange pachimari tank top and blue bikini top underneath for the nighttime swim she planned on later- sipped idly on an Old Fashioned scotch as she lounged on her makeshift Leon-pillow.
The pair of agents drew their fair share of attention from various patrons looking to have a memorable night, making their situation less than ideal- however, this predicament wasn't exactly new to her either.
"Works a treat yeah? Had to do this with Angela once in New York. Flirting is all fun and games, but sometimes..." She takes a slow breath as she recalls the gentleman who had vied to take the Doctor home that night. His leering smile, the gallon of hair gel, the nigh-offensive cologne, his awful pickup lines-
‘Ugh.’
"Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do to save a night out." She laughed a bit, "You should've seen the look on my face when she pulled me to her side introducing me as her girlfriend! Almost fainted on the spot."
She threw her head back as she finished her drink, and immediately grabbed another from a passing patron who was already too sloshed to even notice. Typically, she'd hold herself to higher standards- but they were on vacation.
She was also about 8 glasses deep and starting to giggle at things that only she found funny-
Some people got sad when they were drunk. Some people got angry. Some got handsy.
Lena got giggly.
It was difficult to tell the difference at first, but anyone who truly knew the pilot would place it instantly. It wasn't that she laughed more often- but rather, how. Hiding her smile in her hands, kicking her legs, wobbling into friends with the expectation they'd catch her- which they almost always did.
She shifted around on Leon’s lap as someone looked in their direction with interested eyes.
"I can move over if it's uncomfortable, though."
