Hi, I was wondering if you have any tips on creating a family pose, like what you did for the Disney couples and their kids? Iām asking because I kinda have a hard time with family poses as Iām planning to create some Descendants kids in the og form with their parents and I keep on delaying lol.
When it comes to family poses Iām sure youāll notice I tend to go for three main movesā¦
1) Couple FocusāØ
Where basically I first draw the parents either embracing or just hanging off each other. Sometimes theyāre looking at each other or at their kids.
Then you add the kids in around them creating a cute family portraitš
2) Holding Childš
You can start by drawing one of the parents holding (preferably) a small child then draw the other parent in the back connecting the other child.
Does the same portrait effect but has the parents interacting with the children moreš
3) CenterāØ
This works mainly for families of three but sometimes Iāll have one of the family members in the centre being embraced by the others; makes the close and cuddlyš
Extra : Sleepingš
I donāt use this one as much but still worth mentioning.
The family that fall asleep together is always so cute and shows the characterās personality with how the sleepāØ
Hopefully this helps with your own cute family portraits/posesš honestly if you just be creative canāt go wrongāØ
