@prandiumsouthwold #Southwold . . #anotherweepoem . Dear customers, the town seems quiet without you. I'd like to say pull up a chair are and have a seat, there's plenty here for you to eat. Instead I have to say, please stay away. Don't come down but stay at home, even though I'm here alone. The town seems empty, null and void, everything will work for is destroyed. I miss you all and wonder when, I might see you all again. Streets empty the cars are gone and I wonder how how long this will go on. The High Street shops with in a frozen state, never open from morning till late. Not a sound of soul or printing other till roll. Nothing doing, the coffee brewing. The sounds of laughter and idle chatter, while you tuck into your ciabatta. All is silent and eerie quiet, like the morning after a riot. This lockdown will not last forever and then again, we'll be together. I will open the doors and say come inside. It's lovely to see you and where have you been, tell me your news and give me a grin. I watch the roads fill again, the traffic locking up and I think what a pain. Things are getting back to normal again. So I hope that the end of this all, all of learnt how to grow tall. Hold our heads up high, I'm just glad we didn't die.
