Megs isn’t afraid of needles, but he sure as hell doesn’t like them; he’s been poked and prodded so many times he feels like he’s been used as a pincushion. The amount of times he’s had to use a high powered magnet to extract the broken tips of needles left in his protoform from careless doctors definitely didn’t help.

Once he received a day pass to Praxus for good behavior, and he spent it visiting the museums and cultural centers. He almost forgot about his status as a slave, and returning to Kaon was the hardest thing he ever had to do.

It had taken a few months this time.

It wasn’t a new record, but an old one. He should have known better, and he had. That was the worst part, that he had foreseen this happening and had allowed events to progress in spite of what he knew.

Anyone else would call him an idiot; he was sure some already had. Nightfall and Starscream had proven most vocal. He hadn’t blamed them, but he had ignored them.

This was all his own fault. Megatron had no one to blame but himself.

He sat on the edge of the medical berth, waiting for Zephyr to appear with the medical chart he had reluctantly granted her access to. The information needed to be updated, and he had yet to submit to the full barrage of tests required. He’d have to fill in the blanks, and the half processed energon in his tanks churned at the prospect of reliving any of it.
