Rules: List 10 of your favorite Anime Openings and Closings! Not 10 of each, but 10 songs! They can all be from the same anime or multiple! You can leave links if you want to and make sure to add a little blurb about it~! After you’ve finished, tag at least 5 people~!
Wow, this was hard. There are a ton that I love. The list below represents my favorites today. Things were different in the past and could totally change tomorrow. A lot of times my liking an opening or ending song has nothing to do with the anime. It just has to strike my fancy. I posted links to the artist’s music video for the song if I could find it. If not then I posted a link to a video that has the song playing in the background.
Mother by MUCC: This is ending 23 for Naruto Shippuden. I love Tatsurou’s voice and the way he sings this song.
Enamel by SID: Opening song for Kuroshitsuji: Book of Circus. I freaking love this song so much. I had it on repeat for the entire time Book of Circus was airing. My favorite song by SID.
Silver by RIZE: This is the ending song for the most recent season Gintama. It’s been in my head off and on for a while. I can’t find a video with the full version of the song, but I’ve linked a short version that Rize released as a promo.
Mirai iro by Plastic Tree: This was used as the ending for YU-GI-OH 5D’s. I never watched the anime, but anyone who knows me knows that I love Plastic Tree so of course they’ll be on this list ^_^
Beautiful Days by OKAMOTO’S: The fourth opening song for Gintama season three. I love the song about as much as I love Gintama (a lot).
Headhunt by OKAMOTO’s: Opening for Durarara!!x2 Shou. Another OKAMOTO’S song. What can I say, they write catchy rock tunes ^_^
Cross Game by Alice Nine (A9): Coincidentally this is another ending song from YU-GI-OH 5D’s. I love Alice Nine as well and this song is on one of my favorite albums by them, Vandalize.
Gospel of the Throttle by Minutes Til Midnight: Used as the opening song for Drifters. It has a classic rock kind of feel that I enjoy.
Innocence by NoisyCell: This is the ending for Barakamon. I really enjoy the feeling the singer put into the vocals.
Chu-Bura by Kelun: The eighth opening for Bleach. I really love Kelun and wish they still released music.
THE HERO!! ~Okoreru kobushi ni hi wo tsukero~ by JAM Project: This is the opening for One-Punch Man. It’s such an over the top song. Whenever I hear or think of it, I picture Saitama’s blank expression and smile.
You Only Live Once featuring Hatano Wataru: Ending song for Yuuri on Ice. I actually enjoyed this song more than History Maker. It’s catchy and it features Georgi Popovich’s seiyuu (Hatano Wataru) so that just adds to the fun of it.
I think I might have sad “love” about a million times through this post lol.
