Annon-Guy: Now that we have the Base Roster for Marvel TΕkon, have any final thoughts on the 20 fighters we got? Have any fighters you're hoping for DLC?
The Fantastic Four. I mean, come on. Taskmaster and a few other X-Men could also be nice. Such X-Men characters I'd like to see are Nightcrawler, Cyclops, Jubilee, Spiral and Colossus... although maybe all that can wait since we technically already have 6 X-Men reps. Daredevil, Squirrel Girl and Rocket Raccoon could also be nice. More importantly, remove all remaining country restrictions by removing PSN DRM. I was skeptical of Sony being partnered with this project to begin with, and now they won't even be able to present this game at one of the additional EVOs in Morocco.
EDIT: Tell ya what... if Sony gets their larper ass out of this license that Arcsys and rich-enough-to-simply-publish-the-darn-thing Marvel rightfully should be in charge of together I'll consider buying this game period.
EDIT2: I never gave my opinion on the base roster. I am very pleased with some of these new and returning characters. I once feared for the possibility that Deadpool, Wolverine, Storm, and Magneto would never come back to a fighting game. Congratulations to Spiderman fans for finally having a whole team of Spiderman characters to play with since MvC1. It is on the small side, and the team variety will probably get stale quickly, but overall they made some good iconic choices in addition to a few cool niche ones. It's about time Blade and Kamala Khan got into these games as well. Unfortunately I probably won't be able to play this game very often with its Windows 11 requirement and the RAM shortage.

First off, sorry it took a bit to answer, that was not the plan π
1. The classics, Storm and Wolverine, can't go wrong. Magik is very interesting, seems a lot of fun. And as someone who loves robot characters, Danger is just perfect.
2. With that title Spidey and Star-Lord were obvious. Ms Marvel and Peni I don't know but I feel I would cry over them.
3. The first team I know everyone on. That Iron Man design is amazing. Shuriiii π’
4. The first team of characters I know exist but I personally have never really engaged with. I've always liked Doctor Doom's design and now he's also voiced by SungWon Cho? Whoops, might just become one of my favorite characters in the roster just from that. Magneto is... doing Magneto things, makes sense. Oooh Green Goblin! I know at least one person that will make very happy. And Carnage I can't really say a whole lot about. Name checks out at least.
5. And here's the wild cards. Ghost Rider's great, Blade's ultimate looks sick, "Puny god!" [points] They said the thing! And of course, Deadpool has to be here, complete with fourth wall breaks and references. Beautiful.
Signs of a strong roster is not knowing who you'd wanna play as the most, and out of these teams I honestly couldn't decide. They're all great and have at least one character I am immediately drawn to.
Also announcer lady is terrifying but mesmerizing to watch. So I guess perfect choice for her.
Annon-Guy: You like Marvel Comics and/or DC Comics?
I've never been much of a comic person, sadly. Most I know of them is from movies my dad watches and internet osmosis.
Though I did have an MCU phase a few years ago, if that works.
Annon-Guy: Hello. Are you doing okay?
Hello friend! I'm doing good, thanks for the check-in π

Annon-Guy: Check out the rest of the series, buddy!
The Amazing Digital Circus, you mean? I've watched the whole thing! I've been meaning to do a rewatch though.
Annon-Guy: Do you play BlazBlue: Cross Tag Battle?
Yes but I haven't played it again for a while. I have all the DLC but I'm disgusted at how some characters' movesets are chopped down or homogenized; for instance, Gordeau no longer has Grim Reaper. I feel like the games this crossover sources from are better overall than the crossover itself. But it is a novelty and has great exclusive characters like the RWBY cast, I'll give it that.
Annon-Guy: Any thoughts on the eight games in Capcom Fighting Collection 2? My go to games are Power Stone 1 (good time with human players and CPU) and Capcom Fighting Evolution (that game is more fun with human players than the cheating input reading CPU)
I go with the classic, CVS2. Project Justice is second place for me. But I must say, Fighting Evolution is indeed underrated, as kusoge and MUGEN-y as it is. It's not every day I get to play as Hydron or a freaking t-rex.
